On April 22, Li Meiguang, Party Secretary and Chief Prosecutor of the Yueqing People’s Procuratorate, along with Wu Yunfeng, Director of the Office, Xie Yi, Deputy Director of the Third Procuratorial Department, Sun Ningzhe, Director of Yanpen Subdistrict Office, and Xu Tongsheng, Deputy Director, visited Andeli Group to conduct a research visit aimed at supporting the high-quality development of Yueqing’s private economy through prosecutorial work. Mr. Cheng Anlin, Chairman of Andeli Group, and Mr. Zheng Jiandong, Director of the Marketing Center, warmly received the delegation.
Accompanied by Mr. Cheng, the delegation visited the exhibition hall of Andeli Group, where the company’s journey—from its humble beginnings to its global expansion—was vividly showcased along a timeline of development. Chief Prosecutor Li Meiguang learned about Andeli’s growth trajectory, industrial layout, and advancements in intelligent manufacturing. He was particularly impressed by the company’s differentiated development strategy and its proactive approach in exploring overseas markets. The visit concluded with a cordial discussion between both parties.
At the symposium, Mr. Cheng first expressed his gratitude to the procuratorial authorities for their support and assistance in the field of intellectual property protection, followed by a brief overview of the company’s operations. He emphasized that “a sound intellectual property protection system is a solid foundation for the innovative development of enterprises.” In recent years, thanks to its superior product quality and strong market reputation, the “ANDELI” brand has gained significant recognition in regions such as Africa and the Middle East. However, with the growing brand influence, cases of counterfeit products have become increasingly frequent. Fortunately, with the support of the Intellectual Property Protection Office established by the Yueqing People’s Procuratorate within the industry association, the company has been able to safeguard its rights through legal means. Mr. Cheng expressed his hope that the Yueqing procuratorate would continue to maintain close and open communication with enterprises, intensify judicial protection efforts, further enhance the judicial protection function, and optimize the judicial environment to provide stronger support for the high-quality development of businesses.
Chief Prosecutor Li Meiguang emphasized that the procuratorial authorities will always work hand in hand with enterprises to promote the healthy, stable, and high-quality development of the local economy. He stated that the Yueqing People’s Procuratorate will focus on its primary responsibility of supervision and address key challenges faced by private enterprises by strengthening comprehensive judicial protection of intellectual property and optimizing the provision of legal services. He encouraged Andeli Group to remain committed to its differentiated strategy and to promptly report and effectively communicate any legal risks encountered in its overseas business operations. The procuratorial authorities will strive to improve the quality and efficiency of legal services, assisting enterprises in successfully navigating their overseas ventures with confidence.
This research visit fully demonstrated the procuratorial authorities’ commitment to supporting the development of the private economy and laid a solid foundation for further optimizing the rule-of-law business environment and promoting high-quality economic development. Both parties expressed their intention to continue deepening cooperation between the procuratorial authorities and enterprises, working together to contribute to the economic and social development of Yueqing.
